Program and Career Claims
A school's curriculum, degree title, or online format must be supported by that school's own page. Federal program records establish a field and award level, but they don't establish a school's course requirements. Institution-wide tuition, admission, and graduation figures aren't outcomes for a particular major.
Career guides use BLS and relevant professional sources for duties, wages, and typical entry education. An occupation's median wage describes people working in that job, not the expected starting pay for everyone with a related degree. Licensure rules belong to the profession and state, not to the major name.
Program Examples and Rankings
Our program rankings compare schools within a field and degree level using the published score weights and eligibility rules. Master’s lists include official evidence of a separately admitting master’s route. The curriculum library remains a separate set of school-published examples, arranged alphabetically rather than by score.
Career Imagery
Career images are AI-generated illustrations of typical work settings. They do not depict named professionals, schools, or research projects.
Advertising and Sponsored Listings
SocialSciences.org is published by ESYOH, LLC & Savo Media Group and is supported by advertising. Sponsored college listings are supplied by Esyoh, and we may receive compensation when a reader requests information from a school. Sponsored placements are labeled where they appear. Payment cannot change editorial ranking scores, eligibility decisions, list order, or source requirements.
Page Dates and Corrections
Each page shows two dates. “Posted” is when the page first went live. “Updated” is the last time its content changed. When a school changes a source we rely on, the affected statement and the Updated date change together.
When a correction changes a material program or career claim, the replacement must link to the source that supports it. The methodology explains what each dataset measures, and the source list links to the main federal and professional references.
